"We are not finished until the customer says we are."
This persistence in completing projects to customer requirements helps define us and is an integral component in our commitment to quality.
The unsolicited accolades from pleased customers are essential to our existence, and demonstrate the strength of our consistently superior service.
Attracting and retaining quality people has been instrumental in our plan. Our people enjoy the work of bringing the customer's wishes to reality. Our employees have on average over nine years of tenure. Employee training and continuing education are paramount as well.
As one example, Pittsburgh Stage employs the largest amount of ETCP Theater Rigging Technicians in the state of Pennsylvania. Through very competitive remuneration and through our commitment to fair employment this has been made possible.
Family first is one of our most important tenets. This family culture within our company does as much as anything in retaining the best people.
Stage rigging equipment requires routine inspection and maintenance by a qualified individual or firm at least annually.
Routine maintenance not only provides safety, it extends the life of the stage equipment. Pittsburgh Stage would like to inspect and maintain your equipment. We offer an inspection and maintenance service unparalleled by other rigging companies. We differentiate our "Safety Check" by performing not only a visual inspection, but by performing the maintenance and adjustments necessary to keep your equipment running as efficiently and safely as possible; we will make any minor repairs as time permits. The Safety Check also includes taking samples of the curtains for flameproof testing, which is required by most local codes.
When finished, we will provide you with a written report on the stage equipment with recommendations, a certificate of flameproof testing, a tamper-proof enclosure installed in a conspicuous area on stage with a certificate of testing, and a stage left ready for use. Our thoroughness will bring to attention any deficiencies in your system and give you the insight you need to prevent future problems.
